Android 10 was recently announced by Google. Although the changes are not very drastic, this new software brings more privacy and new features to your smartphone.
Users of the Xiaomi Redmi K20 Pro (known as Mi 9T Pro in Europe, more info below) can now register to receive Android 10 on their smartphone. Unfortunately registration is only open for the Redmi K20 Pro. Still, there are some in Portugal. At least it is the feedback we are getting in the Xiaomi Portugal group at Facebook.
How can you register your Xiaomi Redmi K20 Pro to receive Android 10
First make sure you have the updated smartphone. This is the main step. Then you just need to pass here this link (Google forms) and fill in all the requested data. Then you just have to wait for an answer.
It was not mentioned how many users will receive the update, so it is assumed that Xiaomi wants to reach as many as possible. Please note that this is a beta version.
That is, it is possible (and likely) that it is not the most stable software on the planet. Thus, if you use the device as a daily smartphone, take these factors into account. It is normal to find bugs in Beta software. Still, you should have no problem going back to the "normal" version.
Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro should be next
Since the Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro is basically the Redmi K20 Pro with a different name, it is expected that upgrading to this smartphone will not take long.
The Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro is a high end to consider for many reasons. Apart from giving us fantastic specs and a pop up camera. We also have a price adjusted to most portfolios. That is, it is not a high end just for some.
You can buy Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro at a discount of 99 € with the promo "GBM9TPRO3"on this link. If you never had the opportunity to buy smartphones online, take a look at our article where we teach you how to do it step by step.
