THE Xiaomi has been advancing several details about two new phones that will be officially announced next Thursday (29): the Redmi Note 8th has quad camera, 48 megapixel main sensor and Snapdragon 665 processor; while the Redmi Note 8 Pro It features a 64MP quad camera, up to 25x zoom and MediaTek Helio G90T chip.
O Redmi Note 8th will have four sensors at the rear: the main camera is 48 megapixels, and will be accompanied by an ultrawide camera, a depth sensor and a super macro camera. These details were confirmed by Redmi's official account on the social network Weibo.
The company also claims that Redmi Note 8 will come with the processor Snapdragon 665, same as Xiaomi Mi A3 and CC9e. Lu Weibing, Redmi's general manager, explains at Weibo that this chip is manufactured in the 11 nm process and therefore has more energy efficiency than Snapdragon 660.
Redmi Note 8 Pro will have 64 MP quad camera
Of course, Xiaomi is more excited about the Redmi Note 8 Pro. It will be powered by the Gamer-focused MediaTek Helio G90T processor and will have a liquid cooling system. The 4,500 mAh battery supports fast 18 W charging; Xiaomi president Lin Bin tells Weibo that he used the smartphone for two days and still has 40% charge.
Redmi's biggest highlight Note 8 Pro, however, is the 64 megapixel sensor quad camera: This is the Samsung Isocell Bright GW1 announced a few weeks ago. Its photosensitive area is 34% larger than that of a 48 MP sensor.
Lin Bin, vice president of Xiaomi, shared some images captured by the device to demonstrate the up to 25x zoom. The executive says the original file weighs 21 MB, even exceeding the Weibo upload limit (20 MB), but the zoom shows how sharp the picture is and captures the details well – at least in good lighting.
And in a promotional video, Xiaomi promises that Redmi Note 8 Pro will be resistant: It shows a weight lifter stepping on two units of the machine while lifting a bar; the screen remains intact. The display will have a drop shaped notch.
The redmi Note 8 Pro will be available in green and white; in addition we will have two variants of World of warcraft, limited edition to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the game.
It will be announced at an event in China on August 29th alongside 70-inch Redmi TV 4K, the 10th-generation Intel Core i7 processor Redmibook 14, and possibly the MIUI 11.
