Xiaomi has mistakenly released the update to MIUI 11
Xiaomi wants to keep the record in wireless charging
The event will be held in a few days, more precisely the 9 September, as revealed in the official teaser published on Weibo. Also in that image we see a graph where wireless charging is getting ready to overcome the wired one. This technology seems to be designed for i 5G devices, even if it is not clear what the connection will be. Probably because, since 5G consumes more, larger batteries are needed and therefore will require more recharging power.
If it is exclusively about speed, it is not known, also because around the corner is Huawei Mate 30 Pro, which should support 25W wireless charging. By the way, just Xiaomi would be working on a wired standard at 100W under the name of Super Charge Turbo.
