The WhatsApp beta has been updated with a new feature that many users were waiting for, the possibility of unlocking the app with the fingerprint. This new feature already appears to all users who have the beta installed on their Android mobile.
Version 2.19.184 It is the one that implements this function. If you are a beta user, you will only have to download the update through Google Play. Then you must go to the account settings, privacy section and go down to the option of Fingerprint Lock. We must register the fingerprint that we have configured in our device. Once the footprint is set, we can select the time we want to take to block. That is, the time in which WhatsApp can be active without having to access with the fingerprint.
After, and when exiting the app, it will ask you to select the footprint to enter. There is also another option that allows you to see or not the notifications of new messages. If you do not want the messages to appear, you must uncheck that box.
In the coming weeks this function will reach all users. Remember that it is a beta, so it is likely to have operational problems.
